Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations 2015, Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted as under to deal with the complaints relating to sexual harassment at workplace.
Objectives of the Internal Complaints Committee:
- To orient students and members of the institution about the functioning of the Internal Complaints Committee.
- Assist student or employee in case one wants to file a complaint.
- Evolve fair means of preventive measures.
- To conduct preliminary enquiry of the allegations reported by gathering documentary evidences as well as recording statements of the witnesses.
- To submit the preliminary enquiry report to the principal.
- To comply with the procedures and guidelines mentioned in the UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations 2015.
