ECCO-HARMONY CLUB
Eco-Harmony Club is aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students. Our primary goal is to encourage students to actively engage in gardening activities and create biodiversity-rich spaces on campus. Through our initiatives, we aim to foster a deep connection with nature, promote eco-friendly habits, and contribute to the conservation of biodiversity. These gardens not only enhance the beauty of our campus but also serve as valuable habitats for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
Objectives:
- To raise awareness among students about the importance of environmental conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable living practices.
- To inspire students to develop a love for gardening and cultivate green spaces on campus, including barcode gardens and native plant habitats
- To create and maintain biodiverse ecosystems within the college premises to support native flora and fauna
- To organize workshops, seminars, and hands-on activities related to gardening techniques, sustainable landscaping, composting, and eco-friendly practices.
- To advocate for waste reduction, recycling, and composting initiatives within the college campus
- To arrange nature walks, field trips, and outdoor learning experiences to connect students with nature
