DEPARTMENT PROFILE

 

The Department of Economics, an integral component since the college’s inception in 1963, currently there are two permanent faculty members, with Dr. Arvind Jadav serving as the Head of the Department.

The Department offers a Certificate Course namely ‘E-Banking’ to add-on extra knowledge to the students. Graduates in Economics are presented with a myriad of job opportunities, including roles in education at various levels, both within government and non-governmental organizations, thriving private sector enterprises encompassing trade, commerce, and management, as well as positions in banking, government agencies, and prestigious Civil Services such as the Indian Administrative Service and Indian Economic Service.
