Aim and Objectives:

  • Introduce and master fundamental Mahendi techniques such as cone handling, line drawing, and pattern creation.
  • Familiarize participants with the different types of Mahendi cones, henna paste, and essential tools, emphasizing their proper usage.
  • Teach participants about basic design elements like motifs, patterns, and symmetry, enabling them to create aesthetically pleasing Mahendi designs.
  • Explore the cultural and historical background of Mahendi, connecting the art form to its roots in various traditions and ceremonies.

Course outcomes:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of different types of Mahendi cones, henna paste, and essential tools.
  • The learners will learn to apply basic design elements such as motifs, patterns, and symmetry in Mahendi designs to create visually appealing and well-balanced artwork.
  • Will learn to exhibit creativity by adapting Mahendi designs to suit various occasions and client preferences.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills during client interactions and consultations, understanding and interpreting design preferences accurately
